THE PLASTIC FIGURES
Manufacturer’s Designation and Number of Poses:
The plastic figures come from set 6006 “Saxons.” HaT experimented with a reduced size set when this was released, so the box contains just 24 figures in 4 poses. They are part of a substantial commitment to the early middle age on the part of HaT.
Height (measured from sole of foot to eyes): 21mm. Height (measured from sole of foot to top of head): 22mm.
Although this is one of the earlier releases from HaT, figures and boxes can still be found at hobby shops and online retailers.
Notes on the Samples:
The HaT samples were kindly donated by Liam Sullivan.
This blog is concerned with military miniatures that are about one inch high. To be specific, it deals with figures described as being in the following scales: 20mm, 22mm, "traditional" or "true" 25mm, HO, 1/72 or 1/76.
The focus of the blog is to help plastic wargamers select metal figures to complement their forces, and vice versa. To do this, it presents a series of images comparing various metal ranges to plastic ranges for similar subjects.
Rather than follow the blog day by day, most users will want to search for the ranges they are considering, by clicking on the labels below.
